It is a festive occasion – a time to celebrate and honor those who made an impression on our lives. GVM will pay tribute to the Day of the Dead by dedicating its Main Gallery to altars by the community, whether from individuals or organizations. The altar, or ofrenda, need not necessarily be a memorial to a loved one. GVM welcomes any structure or design that celebrates or honors what is important in one’s life.
