Tea and the Ming Dynasty

Tea Tastings, Politics, and Social Culture in China’s Ming Dynasty will be presented Thursday, August 11, from 6-7:30 pm at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures.  Claire Chien, Assistant Professor of Art Education at Colorado State University, will explore tea-tasting events and Chinese paintings in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 A.D.).  Admission to the program is free, and audience members will also enjoy authentic tea from Taiwan.  For more information, visit globalvillagemuseum.org or call 970-221-4600.
