Opening: Visions of Rural China

Visions of Rural China opens Friday, June 3, in the Main Gallery at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Museum admission is free from 5-8 pm as part of First Friday Art Walk. The exhibit of Huxian folk art, created by villagers and farmers, captures late 20th century rural Chinese life in rich and bold colors. The 45 paintings and woodblock prints feature 23 new gouache watercolors never before exhibited.
