Knitting the World Together

Jeanne Nash, one of the founders of GVM, was a lifelong knitter. She created hundreds of knitted wonders, including fairy tale figures, tradespeople, animals, clowns, mermaids, and pirates (just to name a few). Jeanne sold many of her creations to support worldwide charities, and she envisioned a display entitled Knitting the World Together.
Jeanne’s unique handiwork is available for purchase in the Museum’s gift shop, with all proceeds to benefit the Museum. Our many thanks to Jeanne’s daughter, GVM Board Member Heidi Nash Cross, for donating these knitted treasures.
