Explore Central America’s protected areas and birds from 5-7 pm Tuesday, August 20, in a two-speaker presentation at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. Central America’s Protected Areas: Diverse, Valuable, and Threatened will be presented by Larry Lechner, Affiliate with the Center for Protected Area Management at Colorado State University. Birds of Central America will be presented by Nick Komar, a career biologist with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Fort Collins. Admission to the program is $5/person and includes entry into the Museum’s four galleries.
