The Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is honored to partner with the Turkish American Cultural Society of Colorado (TACSCO) for a meaningful evening of culture and compassion on Thursday, July 17 at 6 pm. The program will spotlight TACSCO’s earthquake relief initiative for 48 children who lost one or both parents in the devastating 2023 earthquakes in southeastern Turkey. In addition to sharing these powerful stories of resilience, the evening will offer a preview of TACSCO’s Annual Turkish Festival & Fundraiser, coming this August to Fort Collins. Guests will enjoy complimentary Turkish appetizers and sweets while experiencing highlights from the festival, including whirling dervish performances, Turkish calligraphy, Ebru water marbling, and a traditional Henna Night show. All festival proceeds will benefit the children supported by the relief program. Join us for an inspiring evening that unites global awareness with the beauty of Turkish tradition.
