The Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures is celebrating the Northern Colorado community with free admission for the public from 11 am to 5 pm on Friday, Nov. 23.  In the Museum’s Main Gallery, Living Aloha:  Hawai’i’s Enduring Legacy showcases art, artifacts, treasures, and aloha shirts from America’s 50th state.

Hawai’i’s Colorful and Complicated History

Dr. Dan Binkley, professor (retired) from CSU Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability, will probe Hawaii's rich ecological diversity and how that diversity can be preserved.  Dr. Erica Fleishman, director of CSU Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands, will examine the military lands in Hawaii and their impact on the islands.
