Dr. Osterman, who has been doing ethnographic fieldwork in Russia and Bulgaria for 40 years, will explore the logic and purpose of such stories.

The Poudre River Public Library District hosts a Russian-language storytime for all ages at the Global Village Museum.  Admission is free.

Russian Roundtable will be an open forum to discuss any and all things Russian.  Participants will include Russian heritage students from Colorado State University as well as Northern Colorado residents who have lived in, or traveled to, the world’s largest country.

Tsars and mad monks, trolls and spies, painters and composers, rocket scientists and Nobel-prize winners.  So what is Russia?  Or maybe it is fairer to ask:  Who is Russia?
