Outmigration and Political Development in the Northern Triangle

The current surge in Central American asylum-seeking migration to the United States has roots in decades of civil conflict and economic underdevelopment in much of the region.  This presentation looks at the situation in the Northern Triangle’s sending countries of El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala.

Opening of Nativities & Festivals of Light

From 11 am to 5 pm Saturday, Nov. 16, the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures will celebrate the opening of Nativities & Festivals of Light.  The Main Gallery exhibit will feature créche scenes and light celebrations from around the world.  The exhibit runs through Feb. 22, 2020.
