Returned Peace Corps Volunteers are cordially invited to a reception in their honor at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures from 5:30-7:30 pm Thursday, Feb. 28. The 2019 Peace Corps Week runs from Feb. 24 to March 2, and this annual event commemorates President John F. Kennedy’s establishment of the Peace Corps on March 1, 1961. Volunteers who plan to attend the reception are asked to RSVP to Erin Cubley, Peace Corps Representative for Colorado State University, at peacecorps@colostate.edu or 315-854-4958.
