Opening of CSU Students’ Exhibit – Fort Collins Gallery Walk

A fascinating historical exhibit curated by graduate students at Colorado State University debuts Friday, April 6, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures. “Bags Packed and Headed to the Rockies: The Legacy of Immigration in Fort Collins” opens 6 – 9 pm with half-price admission as part of Fort Collins Gallery Walk. Highlighting the valuable contributions of immigrants to the culture of modern Fort Collins, the exhibit will focus on various ethnic communities from the 1850s through the end of the 20th century. The project is by students in the Museum Methods class taught by Thomas Cauvin, Assistant Professor in CSU’s Department of History.
