When we opened the letter wall, we hoped it might spark something: a moment of reflection, a quiet confession, a note finally written. What we didn’t anticipate was just how deeply our community would show up, pen in hand, heart wide open. Now that the exhibition has closed, we’re looking back at some of our favorite letters with so much gratitude for every person who stopped, sat with their feelings, and chose to share them. These notes reminded us that the human capacity for connection — in all its messy, tender, luminous forms — is truly boundless.

Love is feeling safe in my challenges and joy in the growing pains of a life filled to the brim or empty and barren. Love is the reminder to take up space and inhabit the world as I am. Love is knowing that I can be fully, wholly, undeniably human. Love is the laughter of cooking together in the kitchen and small touches in shared silences and the soft breaths of your favorite person. Love grounds me in who I am and reminds me of the beauty of shared existence.
She gazed deep into my soul, she didn’t know then. If you look deep enough there are galaxies, stars, planets and infinite space in everyone. It just depends on whether the person wants it or not.
