June 10 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Egyptian Food, Family, and Faith are the themes Saturday, June 10, at the Global Village Museum of Arts and Cultures.  From 1-3 pm, an Egyptian-born student at Colorado State University will compare and contrast her native land with her adopted country.  Hadeel Abdel-Ghany was born in Zagazig, Egypt, but came to the United States at an early age.  With most of her extended family still in Egypt, Abdel-Ghany has returned often to share their experiences with food, education, customs, and societal norms.  She will explore both the similarities and differences between the two cultures as well as the beliefs and tenets of her Muslim faith.  Admission $5 ~ Members FREE
